Power supply system of average capacity of MPS1000.50
Power supply systems (Modular Power Supply, MPS) serve for providing uninterrupted power supply to the telecommunication equipment with a constant voltage of — 48V.
the system provides power to the consumer and rechargeable batteries subject to the presence of mains voltage. In case of the loss of mains voltage power to the consumer, the power is provided by rechargeable batteries.
MPS1000.50 is the system of uninterrupted power supply of the equipment of telecommunication systems of 48 V and the general output current up to 88 A (on 54 V) that depends on the number of installed rectifiers.

Various power supply systems are available. The complex functionality of the system provides protection against the unacceptably large discharge of the battery, the possibility of redundant rectifiers according to the N+1 scheme (the solution provides for redundant rectifiers according to the N+1 scheme), hot replacement of failed equipment (on the “plug & play” principle) and control environment (temperature, humidity, etc.).
Main characteristics and advantages:
- High efficiency> 91.5% — load 40 A
- Modular structure
- A possibility of installation in a rack 19" or ETSI
- The integrated block of distribution of a direct current
- Compact design, depth 300 mm
- Integrated AC distribution box or 3f with surge protection
- Easy access to modules and connection points
- Active load sharing
- Easy system expansion
- Automatic battery capacity test
- Remote control and monitoring
- Control up to 128 batteries
- Management and control of the environment
To ensure an uninterrupted power supply for 2 hours, power supply systems can be equipped with sealed batteries. Batteries comply with the 896-2 standard and provide constant voltage during a power failure. Since they are based on a special technology that allows the recombination of oxygen and hydrogen into water (> 95% efficiency), the emission of gases is minimal, so they can be installed in a naturally ventilated room. Batteries with proper use guarantee a service life of up to 12 years.
Power supply systems are controlled from a common control node TCS MN.
